Scandinavian Furniture Design: A pair of Combi Star chairs designed in 1958 by Arnt Lande for Norwegian Stokke Møbler.

The Combi Star chair is a brilliant example of Scandinavian furniture design from the 1950th., but an early example of ergonomic focus on sitting comfort too. The specially patented tilt mechanism, which gives the chair four positions, secures the balance of the chair with a steady angle between seat and back. And you’re sitting outstandingly well.

The chairs are new upholstered in blue wool, the frames are made of solid teak.

Combi Star stolen er et fornemt eksempel på 1950ernes skandinaviske møbeldesign, men også et tidligt eksempel på ergonomisk fokus på siddecomfort. Den specielt patenterede vippemekanisme, som giver stolen fire forskellige stillinger, sikrer at stolen altid er i balance med en fast vinkel mellem sæde og ryg. Og man sidder helt enkelt fremragende.

Stolene er nypolstrede med blåt uld, stellet er massiv teak.
